In the institution of marriage, two souls are bound together as equal partners to live a happy life and rear a healthy family. They are inter-dependent, the wife serving her husband as a counsel, as a mother, as a nurse, as a maid, as an entertainer, and the husband treating his spouse as his very life respecting her sentiments. Misunderstandings between the two may arise threatening break up of their holy union leading, at times, to their separation. But the impact of their married life is such that they yearn for each other seeking solace in each other's company as husband and wife.
'JUDAAI' presents this aspect of life through two characters of Gouri and Shashikant who get separated over a trivial misunderstanding and late reunite realising that the proper place for a husband and wife to live happily and contented is at each other's side. Incidentally, it depicts that both paternal and maternal love and care are essential for the healthy bringing up of children.
