Rich and Poor, Night and Day are two opposite facts of life without which the world does not revolve.
In this sprawling city of millions there lives a rich conceited women Durgdevi, a crafty politician who is ready to give any sacrifice to gain her political ends, but sacrifice only the innocent.
Durgadevi's stepson Ravi is in love with a poor girl Usha who is a typist in their office and wants to marry her. Durgadevi and her real son Kiran are against the marriage as it is below their dignity. But at the advice of her political people Durgadevi agrees to bless the marriage as it will prove her to be a politician who also practices and not only preaches.
Ravi and Usha get married with a lot of fanfare and from here starts the story of Usha's tears and misfortunes. She is separated from her husband in disgrace and in a state of poverty and hardships she gives birth to a girl Madhu. Madhu grows up to become a bold and beautiful and when she learns of the tears of her mother the story of her revenge starts. How she avenges the tears of her mother with fire seen in 'Aasoo Bane Angaare'.
