The history of India abounds in in stances where in women have shown to what extent devotion to husband and preservation of chastity go. These examples have created a glorious tradition of which India has been proud for ages and ages.
One such a woman was Sati Sulochana. Sulochana's father Sheshnag wanted her to get married to Devraj Indra; but she refused, Sheshnag cursed her that she would be married to a Danav and he will be killed by Sheshnag's incarnation Lakshman. Sulochana was thrown away on Prithvilok to suffer her disobedience to Sheshnag.

Humanity and righteousness were withering to death, while Ravana ruled over Lanka. He proclaimed himself as Almighty God.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Ravana's son Meghnad started penance to acquire virtue of invincibility. Pleased with his penance Brahma granted the devotee his cherished Desire.

To achieve greater power Meghnad started war against Indra who fled and was chased by Meghnad. Finally Meghnad captured him in Vishnu Mandir where Vishnu (in disguise) got Sulochana married to Meghnad. Victorious Meghnad came back to Lanka. Further to achieve greater powers Meghnad also captured YAMA the God of death.

Sulochana found her life at Lanka no bed of roses. She was denied the right to worship Lord Vishnu. Sulochana was torn into two emotions fidelity to husband and devotion to God. She could not disobey her husband nor could she forego her devotion to God.

Enraged Indrajit (Meghnad) ordered Sulochana to stop the worshiping of Vishnu. But, God Vishnu could not remain a silent witness to the troubles of His devotee. He assumed the form of a Man and came to the Prithvilok as Rama, while Lakshmi took the form of Seeta and Sheshnag accompanied them in the form of Lakshman.

Ravan kidnapped Seeta and put her at Ashok Vatika. Sulochana tries to rescue Seeta-Ravan warns her. Then Sulochana gets Yama, Indra and other Devatas released from Ravana's captivity.

Irritated and frustrated Ravana puts Sulochana in Jail.

War between Rama and Ravana wages strongly Lakshman is struck by a missile from Meghnad and swoons. Sati Sulochana's force kept protecting Meghnad in battlefield; but, God of Death YAMA keen and eager to wreak vengeance on Meghnad steps in.

Later on Meghnad is killed. Sulochana goes to the battlefield to claim the head of her husband Meghnad.

Does she get it?  What happens to her?
