On the eve of  “Kawali Ki Raat”Arif and Shahin both come across each other. Shahin does not like the behavior of Arif but when she comes to know that Arif is the poet who used to write under the name of “Gumnam” takes a liking for him and both fall in love.

When Shahin’s father comes to know of Arif’s meeting with his daughter he immediately calls his late brother’s only son Amjad and announces Shahin’s marriage with him while Arif had gone to bring his ailing mother from Agra to propose his marriage with Shahin. But when he reaches with his mother he finds that Shahin is already married.

Like a defeated lover he stays away from home. In the meantime Shahin’s  father dies and Amjad becomes the sole incharge of Haveli. While cleaning things Amjad finds some letters written by Arif to Shahin prior to the marriage which Shahin’s father had hidden in the drawer.

Amjad gets suspicious of Shahin’s conduct and one night actually sees Arif talking to Shahin while Shahin had rebuked Arif and ordered him not to see her anymore as she was somebody else’s wife.

Amjad leaves the house and Shahin inspite of her search for him does not get any trace of her husband. She calls Arif and begs of him to bring her husband back as he was the cause of it. Arif succeeds to bring Amjad back home but in the process gets entagled in a murder committed by Amjad.

What happened to Arif and who was punished for murder? See in Durgesh Productions “Kawali Ki Raat”.
