CRIMINAL COURTS

In our judicial system guilty must be punished and an innocent must be released honorably.

But one day in the criminal courts of Bombay, the caretakers of our judicial system took a reverse decision and put innocence in chains.

A seasoned criminal Abdul (Shakti Kapoor) commits the murder of one of the city's wealthiest man by the name of D.N. Modi and innocent Vijay (Rakesh Roshan) who had gone there to meet his beloved Asha (Aarti Gupta) the niece of D.N. Modi gets trapped. He is charged for committing the said murder and is put behind the bars in central Jail.

CENTRAL JAIL

Innocent Vijay meets different type of criminals in the jail, and one find day Abdul also lands up in the same jail for having committed a robbery. Vijay and Abdul soon become friends and decide to run away from the jail one day when the van taking the prisoners to work meets with an accident Vijay and Abdul manage to escape.

AFTER JAIL ESCAPE

Abdul brings Vijay to his hideout. Vijay's only purpose is to find out the original culprit who committed the murder, and Abdul has only one mission to settle down his life with a mujra dancer Salma (AshaSachdev) at a distant place where law can never catch him.

Will Abdul be able to settle his life as desired by him?

Will Vijay be able to trace out the original culprit who is so near to him?

Can Vijay be by the police and once again put behind the bars for the rest of his life?

For answers to all these questions see BEGUNAAH QAIDI.
