After ten years of longing desire and prayers, Kailash and Pushpa were gifted with twin sons, Bhola and Sanjay. Fate separated Bhola from his family. While Sanjay was brought up by his parents, Bhola grew up as a servant to a village Zamindar.

Tara, the grand daughter of the Zamindar was deeply in love with Bhola. However Bhola only respected her and regarded her as 'ChhotiMalkin'  Sanjay, in the city, had grown up into a romantic playboy. He was engaged to Sonia, the cousin of prince Kunwar. Sanjay had some how become involved in the murder of a cabarettedancer Lucy.

On pretext of marrying Tara, Kunwar had taken a big sum of money belonging to the Zamindar and had run away. Bhola followed Kunwar to recover his master's money. There due to his resemblence with Sanjay, he was arrested by the police for the murder of Lucy. He discovered that Sanjay was his own brother and to save him, Bhola took the murder charge on himself. On learning that Bhola as his twin, Sanjay also gave himself to the police. There the two brothers met.
