Separation-is what Neema wants, and separation is what she gets through the court, when she feels that her husband Arun, her only strength, has betrayed her.
At the moment of victory, when she leaves the court with her three year old son, Nandu, little does she know that in her victory, lies her defeat. She fails to understand her husband’s words- that sorrows borne in husband’s house are much sweeter than even the joys of father’s house. The truth of this dawns on her gradually. A wound when raw never pains, its only later that it aches- it was then that Neema wished to back to her husband. But then do barren trees bear fruit?
Her ego would not permit it- She wanted Arun to call her back- Arun, who never wanted a separation, wants his wife to come back on her own accord. Hence, loving each other they lived separately.
But then its never too late! Arun and Neema can unite again if only they would realize that it was nothing but “THODISI BEWAFAII”.
