Amit, the lone inheritor of the palace and gigantic property, runs away from home because of his aunt's torture. Kailashnath, owner of the entire property, launches an extensive search for him but in vain. Before his death, Kailashnath is assured by his secretary, John, that no efforts would be spared and that, once Amit is found, the entire property would be handed over to him Time passes. John's search continues. A lad whose name is Amit and incidentally a look-alike of Shahrukh Khan, spots an advertisement given by John in a newspaper. Thus he comes to know about the search for the real heir to the property. Amit, who is in love with Pooja, decides to stake his claim to the property. When a local hoodlum, Baburao, comes to know about this, he holds Amit captive and in a bid to set his hands on the property, sends his man Baba, a look-alike of Sanjay Dutta, to the palace impersonating Amit, Baba correctly identifies John, aunt Rukmani, uncle and filmsy servant Karamchand and claims that he is Amit, Sangeeta, unaware of Baba's real identity, is happy to see Amit, her childhood love. Rukmani does not want the property to be snatched from right under her nose. She meets Pakeezah, a renowned criminal and they together hatch a plan, the motive being possession of the property Mean while, another Amit, who too resembles Shahrukh Khan, enters the palace. He also correctly identifies the family members and calls himself Amit, the real inheritor of the property. As if this wasn't enough, one more person, a Jackie Shroff look-alike, enters the palace. He too declares that he is Amit and correctly identifies the family members. Only one of these is the real Amit and with the help of the Police Commissioner John wants to put an end to this confusion. So then, who is the real heir? How are the imposters exposed? What was Rukmani and Pakeezah's plan and do they succeed? What is Baburao's next move? To know the answers, you will have to view this laugh-riot called 'TEEN MOTI'
