"TAQDEER KA TAMASH" is the story of a happily married couple SAYADEO (Jitendra) & GEETA (Maushami). The Character of Satyadeo is the symbol of truth & commitment. They have got a Son called SURYA PRATAP (Aditya) & second one is on the way. SHESHNAG (Sadashiv), the devil, has got a grudge against SATYADEO because one of the henchmen of SHESHNAG was sentenced to death due to SATYADEO. 

Luck plays its part, SATYADEO's wife is in hospital for the delivery of her second child. Lot of money is required for the operation. SATYADEO goes to SHESHNAG for the help. SHESHNAG, the shrewd fellow, takes the complete advantage of the situation, gives him money, and makes SATYADEO agree to work for him. 

SATYADEO gets shock of his life when he comes to know that SHESHNAG is a smuggler & SATYADEO has to get involved in his activities. Unwillingly,

SATYADEO works for SHESHNAG because of his commitment. Meanwhile SHESHNAG double-crosses SATYADEO, gets him arrested & this is his revenge. 
This incident shatters SATYADEO's life. His wife leaves the city & goes to some unknown place along with her two kids. 

SATYADEO is released, comes to his house & finds his family missing. SATYADEO goes to SHESHNAG, hits him badly & says that now there is nothing in his life & his only motive is to destroy SHESHNAG. 

Luck again plays its game. SATYADEO becomes the Don of the city & is known as `DEVA. The story goes twenty years later. The older son SURYA PRATAP (Aditya) becomes the Police Inspector & the younger one SATYA (Govinda) a music lover. Fate brings GEETA (Maushami), SURYA PRATAP (Aditya) & SATYA (Govinda) in the same city where SATYADEO is living as DON. SURYA PRATAP falls in love with RAJNI (Mandakini) who is niece of SHESHNAG & SATYA falls in love with a basti girl ANGOORI (KimiKatkar). 

Things move smoothly, but the luck again takes a twist, SURYA PRATAP suspects SATYADEO's activities. SATYA starts working for SHESHNAG to save the basti where his beloved lives. When mother comes to know about SATYA's involvement with SHESHNAG, she throws him out of the house. While going SATYA says that it is not a crime to commit a crime to save poor people's basti. SATYA starts working against his father. One son works against the father as a Lawman & the other as an opponent. Father & Sons become the enemy of each other & the battle goes on. 
Now, how the luck brings them together, this is "TAQDEER KA TAMASHA".
