"TAN-AGGAN' is a story about love. deceit, lust, greed. helplessness and revenge.
Madan marries Shanu and brings her to Mumbai, but to Shanu's utter dismay she discovers that her husband has sold her off. But before any customer could force her, she commits suicide. On the other hand, Shanu's elder sister Rekhaarrives Mumbai in search of a job. She meets Jimmy who pretends to be a good man.
Jimmy brings her to his house and drops some sleeping pills in her cup of tea. She falls unconscious, and on coming back to her sense, she is shocked to find herself sole to Jimmy's customers. Driven by furiousness and rage Rekha kills Jimmy. Thereafter she rows to kill all those who are responsible for forcing innocent girls into the flesh trade. And then Rekha starts murdering the pimps one by one. At the same time, she also works as a journalist. When she comes to know of Shanu's death, she traces out Madan and shoots him, thus revenging her sister's death. But Inspector Vijay (Rekha's lover) arrives on the spot and despite his assurances, she doesn't surrender and chooses to kill herself.
