A crime for Roti uprooted Mangal in childhood. A murder for Roti sent him to the gallows. His fellow gangsters rescued him, but he refused to rejoin them. Fugitive Mangal reached to a border village, where he met Bijli’s dhavewali, and found a home in the house of a blind old couple. He served them like their own son. He helped villagers and loved Bijli.

Hardly he could settle in this sanctuary police and gangsters traced him. He decided to cross the border along with Bijli, beyond the reach of the hands of law and the guns of gangsters. Could they cross the border? What happened to Mangal and Bijli? See on the screen in ‘ROTI’
