Reshma (1995)

Dasyusundari Sherni (Shantipriya) and Ranga Daaku (Joginder) are terrorising the lives and people of the village. Only Inspector Sooraj (Saajan) is brave enough to raise his voice against them... a fight follows during which Sherni becomes unconscious and goes into coma. This fact is kept hidden. One day Inspector Sooraj sees a gypsy, Reshma (Shantipriya), who looks identical to Sherni. He loses no time and makes her a part of his plan against Ranga Daaku. Inspector Sooraj sends Reshma as Sherni into Ranga Daaku's den with the help of Sikandar Khan (Mukesh Khanna) who is the son of great Inspector Ashraf Khan (Mukesh Khanna). 

Inspector Ashraf Khan and Lala Dhaniram (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) were old enemies and had killed each other in an encounter. Dhaniram's son, Maniram (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) who is a bigger rogue than his father, rapes Sikander Khan's adopted sister Champa (Jaya Mathur). Champa's father, the head of the gypsy tribe (Sunil Dhavan) had raised Sikander since childhood. When Champa goes to the police station for help, unfortunately Sikander Khan is not there and Inspector K.K. (K.K. Raj) takes undue advantage. Heart-broken, champa leaves her twin daughters in a temple and goes to kill herself when she is shot by Ranga Daaku. 

Inspector Sooraj, gypsy Reshma- who is willing to give her life for her love Sooraj, and Inspector Sikandar Khan-who has just served seven years in jail for killing Inspector K.K, all want to see the death of Ranga and Lala Maniram.
