To start with the introduction of the story Mr. Dharamdas the father of the only daughter Sheetal was a well-respected personality with an owner of a press.

Sheetal being his daughter was an example of a soft hearted woman. The meeting of her with Ravi was a pure coincidence as such she had a helping behaviour this lead to Ravi's employment. His potentials and hard sprit was the results of the press doing alarming business the starting point of love affair and later resulting in to a marriage.

Now comes the leading character mainly leading to the climax of the story and he is Amar, Sheetal's fast friend which was as such as a close friend of Ravi which Sheetal was not aware of. Few months later as matter wish is seen common in all women the same is with her and this desire of her Keep increasing and on the other hand Ravi gets a disastrous news from the Doctors that he will never become a father that's the secret. But here on the other hand the pregnancy development with Sheetal is speedy with all resulting in dispute between the two and the culprit being Amar according to Ravi.
