During INDIA's struggle for freedom Raja Azad Singh was a force to reckon with. He was a definite threat to the foreign rule in the country but his dreams were short lived as Harry a traitor in his camp got him arrested in return of a Palace to dwell in.

The wife of Raja Azad Singh had no other alternative but to leave her new born son in the cradle of an orphanage to save his life. This child grew up to become the champion of the poor and the tortured masses. The city Mayor Harry's daughter Ruby could not hold her admiration for this new legend. She asked him his name and he replied, "I am on every woman's lips. My name is "MARD".

This "MARD" vowed to free his captive father and the nation form imperialistic rule.

Did he succeed in fulfilling his vows? Could he release his father from the British Gaol?

Could he punish the traitors of the country?

For all these answers see "MARD" on the silver screen.
