Jassa (Dharmendra) has two companion in his life, one is his Truck and second his beloved Kamli (Sonu Walia) whom he loves too much, but he does not know that he is doing some illegal kind of job for his friend D.J. (Amrish Puri).

One day he was happily driving his truck in a jovial mood, suddenly a child comes in front of the truck. Jassa takes the child to Hospital. There he comes to know that the child is the son of Check Naka Inspector Prakash Verma (Anupam Kher). Doctor tells that boy is suffering from Brain tumor, so you please take extra care of the child. Jassa and Prakash become friends. Both talk about each other's life. Prakash tells him about his wife Shobha (Sujata Mehta) and sister Poonam (Ayesha Julka).

Poonam is studying in the college, she is in love with Vijay (Avinash Wadhwan). When Vijay comes to their house, Prakash insults him and throws him out. Poonam comes to know that in the real sense her Vijay is a Pick Pocketeer.

Prakash is the biggest obstacle for D.J. He raids on his godowns, so DK.J. is very upset. He plans to send the illegal goods in Jassa's Truck. When Prakash tells Jassa that D.J. is using him for anti-social causes then both take the oath to finish D.J.'s illegal empire.

One of D.J.'s man, Mr. Rastogi informs D.J. about Prakash & Jassa's war against him then D.J. plans to kill both. So he gets free Gullu Badshah (Gulshan Grover) from the jail who is the biggest enemy of Jassa.

With the cleverness, Gullu Badshah succeeds to kill Prakash by Jassa. When Jassa comes to know about the planning of D.J. then he attacks on D.J.  But Gullu Badshah fires at Jassa. Then they put Jassa in the Truck and push him down the hill.

God is always great, by chance Jassa has been saved by the villagers. Now Jassa's only aim is to look after Prakash's family and to finish D.J.

Prakash's widow Shobha is a qualified lady. She has been posted a Check Naka as Inspector to take the avenge from D.J. Vijay joins D.J.'s group.

How Jassa, Shobha & Vijay take the avenge and how they succeed to finish D.J. you must be anxious to know. So you must see MAHASHAKTISHALI".
