Seth Durga Prasad and Kanahiya Lal were partners in the business. Durga Prasad was simple and open hearted man whereas Kanahiya Lal was very cunning. One night Durga Prasad was murdered in his room. On hearing the noise of the Pistol Durga Prasad's son Suresh and daughter Sobha rushed in the room. Suresh saw the culprit running away and disappear while chasing him.

Jayant son of Kanahiya Lal and lover Sobha consoles Sobha and promises to find out her brother and trace the real culprit. Jayant alongwith the Secretary of Seth Durga Prasad goes to a Hotel where Suresh used to go always for drinks and other bad habits. This annoyed the proprietor of the Hotel, Jayant and the Secretary have a row with him but manages to come out of the Hotel safely.

One night a maskman contacted Sobha and promises to reveal the whereabouts of her brother Suresh on the condition that she would break her relations with Jayant and will not take any help from the Police. Desperate Sobha agrees to him and accordingly behaves very rudely with Jayant and breaks his contacts with Police as well.

Jayant believes that Shanker the proprietor of the Hotel has got his hands behind the whole game. He manages to go along with the Secretary in the Hotel and serve as waiters.
While trying to rescue Suresh, Jayant too falls in the hands of Shanker & finds his father, Sobha as well there in the den.

Who is the real murderer? Who is maskman? What is Shanker's whole game?

How the real culprit is caught? How Jayant, Suresh, Sobha were rescued? What happened to Kanahiya Lal?
