The environment makes a man. A very true example are Satyajeet and Sandeep. They are both brothers and have been brought up in an orphanage. Sandeep had an urge to wear a watch. So he managed t get the watch of Manager by committing theft. Satyajeet being the elder, took the blame on himself. As a result he was punished and got the reputation of a ‘Thief’.

Gulshan Rai was a well-known lawyer and was childless. He adopted Sandeep and took hima way. Now every theft was pinned down to Satyajeet. When he could not bear it any more, he escaped from the orphanage.

The environments changed.

In Gulshan Rai’s house, Sandeep found all the love, care, education and everything that a normal child wants. And following the footsteps of his foster father, he too became a lawyer. Satyajeet after leaving the orphanage was left a destitute having no one to care about him and nothing to fall back upon. But human desires were there. Hunger dragged him into the company of street urchins destitutes like him who are born on footpaths and die on footpaths who are half criminals. Again environment played their part. He was moulded into a young man of shady character.

Rustum apparently was a restaurant owner but actually a man of shady character, dealing in narcotics and drugs. Satyajeet now known as Jeeto, found it wise and amusing to rob a robber. The result was enmity between Rustum and Jeeto. Rustum wanted to remove the obstacle after using his all informer and the result was death of police officer. Jeeto had to leave the town.

Again the environment changed.

Now, he was an outlaw. He gradually turns into a dacoit and one day indulged into a train robbery in which Gulshan Rai was travelling. This sudden meeting brings back the memory of his beloved brother and decides to leave the gang and meet the beloved Sandeep.

Then what happened? What happened to his beloved Brother? What happened to the romance between Sarla and Sandeep? With whom he had a chance meeting when she was driving a taxi disguised as a boy? For all the questions LAHOO PUKAREGA is the answer.
