Mr. Trimoorti a central minister wanted to became the prime minister any how. So he engages a terrorist to kill the prime Minister. At the same time Shekhar a police office is appointed to protect prime minister. He succeeds in arresting terrorist.
Shekhar's father wanted to make his friend's daughter Meena his daughter-in-law. But one young beautiful girl named Yamuna loves Shekhar.
One day Shekhar is asked to search a foreigner named Franka who was lost in Rameshwaram. One unknown person threatens Shekhar to hush up this case. But Shekhar not cared it. Yamuna was shot dead by the unknown person when she came to see off Shekhar. Shekhar meets Meena as a prisoner. She was arrested for the murder of Franka.
After investigation Shekhar comes to know that Meena was innocent. Shekhar frees Meena and marries her.
Trimoorti kidnapped Meena and Shekhar's father and asks Shekhar to kill prime minister on 15th August otherwise he has to loose his family.
Whether Shekhar kills the prime minister and saves his family or he saves prime minister and looses his family?
Whether Trimoorti was punished or he became the new prime minister?
