Two groups of students converge on a countryside rest house for their college trips. The all-female group is accompanied by Professor Laxmi who despises men and their matron Sister Sophia. The all-male group is under the tutelage of retired Col. M.K. Das who cannot tolerate women. While these two groups engage in their flirtatious tiffs, something more sinister is afoot. Thakur Onkar Singh has murdered his elder brother Virendra Singh and seized the estate. He is also in search of a hidden treasure buried under an old Vishnu Mandir, for which he has imprisoned the previous manager of the estate Thomas who also happens to be Sister Sophia’s father. The locals are protesting against Thakur Onkar’s claims over the temple. But Shah Bahadur, the government officer who is in charge of inspecting the claim is completely corrupt. Adding to the bedlam is a mysterious assailant who silences anyone who gets too close to the truth. While romance blooms between the men and women (as well as their teachers), Rajesh and his friends also get involved in the agitations around the temple. Their teacher M.K. Das encourages and aids them, resulting in an independent investigation which declares the temple public property. Shah Bahadur attempts to rape one of the women but is foiled by Baldev, one of the male students. Ultimately the students end up catching the mysterious assailant and foil Thakur Onkar’s villainous plot.
