Thakur Ram Pratap Singh, a business executive, loving husband and an affectionate father of a ten year old child, reports the murder of a Journalist despite the warming of his well wishers. His action results in the arrest and subsequent imprisonment of a very smart gangster, Jagmohan, who unleases his wrath against Ram and his family. Police Inspector Sharma, an upright officer of law, suggests to the authorities that "Witness Security Programme" be introduced to help honest citizens, who come forward to help the police. Ram and his family are given protection under this novel scheme but their respite is short-lived. Their identity is blown and they are on the run for their lives.
While running from place to place and changing their identities, a moment comes when Ram decided to face the battle like a brave man under his real name. He decides that instead of being hounded like a rabbit, he will confront his enemies boldly. "If I have to die, I shall die with a bullet in my chest & not in my back," he announces to the world and his "JAWWAB" (answer) begins........
