This story is of infatuation.

Pinky and Bunty who are young, immature and naughty meet during college youth festival and they are immediately infatuated with each other. They plan for their marriage in a haste.

However Bunty's father had promised Bunty's marriage to Shobha, the daughter of his childhood friend. While Pinky's father selcted Arjuna a mature and responsible police officer.

Pinky and Bunty want to run away from home to get married and they consult Bunty's aunty for the same. Aunty know that this is infatuation and not love and hence suggests a plan to them. As per the plan Bunty and Pinky marry as per parents wishes.
