In the cell of a jail, Bullet was restless - memories of his childhood haunted him - love for his father, mother and sister - but destiny played its' part and the happy family was completely shattered. His father Hargovind babu was hooked by his assistant Madanlal and was sentenced for five years. Madanlal also tried to rape his mother Sujata. Bullet who was then Rakesh, reached his house and with a Katari, wounded Madanlal's legs and made him lame for the whole life. He escaped from the police and changed his name from Rakesh to Bullet.

Bullet came out of jail with his friend Boltu who took him to his sister Laxmi's house. Bullet and Boltu decided to lead a clean and honest life. They started a food stall on a thela. But some goondas wanted free food from them and a fight took place. Bullet beat the goondas severely but the thela was broken.

A man D'costa was watching Bullet fighting. He approached him and convinced him that in todays' world honestly does not pay. Bullet was convinced and D'Costa takes him to his boss Kalicharan who was the same Madanlal- but now he was completely changed. They join Kalicharan. In one of the operations Boltu was killed. Bullet wanted to leave Laxmi's house, but she did not allow him as they were already in love.

Kalicharan was very happy with Bullet's work and he gave him a bungalow to live in. Bullet told Laxmi that he would settle down as soon as he found his mother and sister. One day Laxmi took Bullet to a Kali Mandir and there by coincidence he met his mother and sister. He was told that his father had never met them after he came out of the jail.

Kalicharan's biggest enemy was Roopchand. Bullet used to overpower Roopchan's gang at every encounter and so Roopchand wanted to kill Bullet.

One day one of Roopchand's men shot Bullet. Bullet was hurt but was saved. He was unconscious when Kalicharan went to see him. He saw a locket on him and realised that this was the same boy who had made him lame. His men wanted to kill Bullet, but Kalicharan wanted to sell him to Roopchand as he was the greatest enemy of Bullet. A place near Ganges was fixed and Bullet was tied in a boat to be sold to Roopchand. Before drowning Bullet, Roopchand's men took out the locket and overturned the boat. Roopchand was shocked to see the locket.
