Doosri Sita is a story of a simple sensitive Indian girl named Sita Wagle, who committed a double murder of her husband and mother-in-law who subjected her to inhuman cruelties and forced her to adopt a way of life which was unnatural. She was sentenced to death, by the court of law which she accepted happily but the right to die was also denied to her owing to pregnancy. She had to suffer for months together in jail till she gave birth to a child. The natural motherly instinct prompted love in her heart for the new born, but the irony of a fate decided otherwise. When she wanted to die, law wanted her to live and when she wanted to live, law wanted her to die. Was the murder act of Sita Wagle justified? Please see the film Doosri Sita and decide.
