It is the heart after all. No barriers of riches can separate two throbbing hearts.

Jamila is the daughter of a wealthy Khan Bahadur. Although her long stay in London had made her a free thinking girl, but, she loved Indian music and poetry. One day she heard a song on the radio and its voice enchanted her. She lost her heart to the singer. The singer was no other than Chand, the only son of a multi-millionaire Nawab but who by misfortune was brought up in poverty.

How the cruel hand of fate separated the two lovers and how Chand donned various disguises to secure his sweetheart forms an interesting funfare to be enjoyed on the screen.
