Dharavi-the name of the largest slum in Asia. Over a million people, living in subhuman conditions, holding on tenuously of life. In a world bereft of social conscience, where they are merely seen as cheap labour. Consequently, it is each man for himself. Each individual has a dream of making it. A dream fuelled by the glitz and affluence of the mother city, Bombay, and by popular film fantasies, this is the story of one such inhabitant of “Dharavi”, Rajkaran Yadav, whose dream of owning a Dye factory turn when he has to borrow money from the local slum lords.

But even in the worst circumstances, a man hopes that one day he will succeed. What else can he do?
