Bhanu Partap (Amrish) who was removed from his Parivar for his wrong deeds on return from jail has an eye on the property of his younger brother’s widowed wife Deepa (Rati). Dharam a poor but hard-working man loved Deepa. Due to some circumstances, Deepa married a rich man leaving Dharam to keep her memories only. He vowed not to marry and lived to help people.

Bhanu Partap got rid of Deepa and tried to grab all the property of Deepa. But Deepa had made Will in favour of her 6-year-old daughter, Barkha. Child Barkha grows up as Padmini Kolhapure under the hard hand of Bhanu Partap and his wife (Shashikala). When Barkha could not tolerate torture she decides to commit suicide but is saved Suraj (Govinda) who falls for her. Bhanu Pratap is unhappy at the disappearance of Barkha who was his golden goose.

On attaining the age of 21, Barkha became the owner of a whole property. Bhanu Pratap forced Barkha to assign all the property in his name and allowed her to go to her love Suraj. But his plans were to remove Barkha permanently. But Barkha was saved by Dharma. Dharma finds a photo of Deepa in the ornaments of Barkha and is stunned. He realizes that Barkha is the daughter of his love. Dharma removes all the fear from the mind of Barkha and trains her to fight for the wrong done and get her rights back.

Barkha returns with Dharma and Bhanu Partap who has given her up as dead is shocked. One by one Barkha avenges wrong done to her and invites Suraj, her love in the house. Bhanu Partap could not tolerate this and plans to kidnap Suraj and forces Barkha to transfer the property in his name is she wanted Suraj safe. How Barkha gets the confessions from Bhanu Partap is all thrilling drama which “DADAGIRI” reveals on the screen.
