Two men, Kishore and Bhagwan, are fast asleep in their cabin when they are suddenly awakened by three men who are insistent on searching the room. The three men keep Kishore and Bhagwan at gun-point for a coat – although in vain. Later when Bhagwan finds the coat, there seems to be nothing expensive in the coat, but they decide to hold on to it. However, they are sneakily searched again, this time by two women, Smriti and Shashi, who distract them and take the coat. The two men follow the two women, which leads them to Jwala Prasad, the coat owner. Jwala Prasad is also the uncle of Smriti and Shashi, and is grateful to Kishore and Bhagwan for returning his coat. In gratitude, Jwala Prasad lets Kishore and Bhagwan stay with them, only to run away the next morning along with his nieces. Surprised by the events, Kishore and Bhagwan decide to further investigate the situation, which takes them to Madras, Howrah and finally to Pakistan. In Pakistan, the duo gets caught and is held in a dungeon where goons make preparations for them to be hanged. But the mystery of the coat remains. Will they survive to find out?
