A police officer, Roshni Verma disappears after arresting Dhiraj (Anand Balraj), son of a politician Anna Saheb (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) for murder.

Unknown to the outside world she is ratting in a dark prison and tortured constantly to break her spirit. But she is searched out by a persistent journalist Sunita Menon (Sujata Mehta) who with the help of her editor Arun Saxena (Anupam Kher) makes her case national headlines. But no lawyer is willing to defend her on charges of murder for which she has been framed against political might.

However, a young lawyer Mr. Avinash Kapoor (Jeetendra) believing in Human Rights defends her. Together they bring down the evil empire of political power and restore Human Dignity.
