Roopa Verman was a Hindi film actress in the 1950s. She was born in Nairobi, Kenya where her father worked as a police officer. The family later shifted to Lahore and then Bombay. She made her debut in Navketan’s production Baazi (1951). She played Dev Anand’s younger sister in the film. She was cast as the lead heroine in Vinod’s Titli/ For Ladies’s Only (1951) and Mohd Hussain’s Mallika Solomi (1953). Her other noteworthy films were Raman B Desai’s Haridarshan (1953), M V Raman’s Pehli Jhalak (1954), and Jai Mahadev (1955).
