Actress Mehroo was active in Hindi films in the 50s and 60s. She was born Mehroo Maneck Kaka on 10 May, 1933 in Bombay. Mehroo is known for action and adventure films such as Rifle Girl (1958), Miss Toofan Mail (1958), Miss Hunterwali (1959), and Hurricane Express (1961). She worked mainly with B J Patel, who specialised in action and stunt films. 

Rifle Girl is an action-adventure-fantasy thriller crafted by B J Patel. The story revolves around the life of a brave girl living with her family who challenges a kingpin and his henchmen over injustice meted out to the villagers. A brave man rescues her from danger, they fall in love, together setting off on a deadly mission unmindful of the odds. The film starred Rajan Kapoor and Mehroo. Miss Toofan Mail, also in the action genre directed by B J Patel, saw Mehroo along with a cast comprising Roop Mala and Samar Roy among others.
