Sayeeda Khan the veteran actress was introduced by H S Rawail in his film Kaanch Ki Gudiya opposite debutant Manoj Kumar in 1961. She is known for her films such as Modern Girl (1961), Char Darvesh (1964), Sindbad Alibaba and Aladdin, Kanyadaan (1968), Vasana (1968), and Yeh Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai (1966). She had a whirlwind romance with filmmaker Brij and the two tied the knots and had two children Namrata and Kamal. She and her daughter were tragically murdered by her husband who was suffering from severe mental stress at the time. Cinemaazi remembers the actress on her death anniversary.
