Durga was awaiting the completion of her beloved Dr. Ram's inter ship in the city so that she could wed him and he would set up his dispensary in their Village and live happily, but Durga's stepmother has other plans in mind, with the help of her brother Dharamdas a drug peddler in the city she mislead Durga into believing that Dr. Ram had already married and that he had ditched her Dharamdas started feeding Durga drugs on the pretext of administering medicine and gave her dreams of becoming a film Star Durga left the village with Dharamdas to pursue her dreams in the City. 

The drug addiction of Durga led her to compromise with the demands of Dharamdas and then one day she was gang-raped by the drug Mafia Kingpins and thrown for dead at the Sea beach.
 
Dr. Ram discovered the lifeless body of Durga and with great medical care and other therapies brought Durga to be a normal being. Dr. Ram cleared Durga's misunderstanding and the two of them got married, happiness once again filled their lives. 

The Drug Mafia discovered that Dr Ram was crusading effectively against drug addiction, they first tried to buy him and then they liquidated him. Durga now a young widow thought of fighting the drug mafia and punishing the murderers of her husband.
