Sagar (Rishi Kapoor) is a very famous singer, who with his golden voice makes people go crazy and mad after him. One day Sagar himself goes crazy and mad after he sees Sapna (Raveena Tandon) a dream come true which turns into reality. At this juncture another girl Anjali (Navneet Nishan) comes like a storm into his life and drags him into the deep sea of wine & whisky. He becomes cynic and alcoholic and a misunderstanding takes place between Sagar & Sapna.
At this juncture another girl enters his life whose name is Kavita (Tabbu). She is like a life saving boat and brings Sagar from the deep sea of alcoholism to a normal leading life.
They both start a new life and at this moment another person Rakesh (Sumeet Saigal) comes and stands in between them like a big mountain.
Sagar tries to overturn this mountain and again Sapna is there before him... Here starts a new story of love, life & hatred.
