LEGEND OF NAGINA CONTINUES. . . . .

RAJANI (SRIDEVI) and RAJEEV (RISHI KAPOOR) became proud parents of a daughter NEELAM (SRIDEVI). The tragedy struck, when Neelam was only one year old, Rajani and Rajeev met with an accidental death. RAJA SAHAB (PRAN) – Uncle of Rajeev, learning about the sudden death of his Nephew, comes from abroad to the Haveli and takes away the orphan child Neelam with him. At the age of nineteen the child Neelam becomes a fabulously beautiful woman (SRIDEVI) and comes to the Haveli to stay there with her Grand Uncle Raja Sahab.

Those two cobras who were saviours and protectors of Rajani during her lifetime and guardians of MANI were still alive and frequent visitors of haveli to pay respect to their late Malkin by sitting before her photograph hanging on the haveli wall.

Not very far from Neelam’s haveli, is a Mutt of Sadhus. They are all disciples of the late BHERO NATH (AMRISH PURI) who died about twenty years ago of snake bite by the same two cobras while saving Rajani from him. His favourite disciple GORAKH NATH (ANUPAM KHER) has become the head of the Sadhus. He has made a life-size statue of his Guru Bhero Nath which he worships and has vowed to find the MANI and fix it in the crown adorning the head of his Guru’s Statue. He has been in constant search of the two black cobras who killed his Guru Bhero Nath (in NAGINA) to learn the whereabouts of MANI.

Gorakh Nath sees Neelam in the dead of night when she was coming out of the old ruins after seeing the MANI in the basement of old temple, He understands that Neelam is the Daughter of Rajani who possessed MANI and now Neelam possesses it with the help of two black cobras.

He tries to kidnap Neelam but ever vigilant guardian cobras foil his evil effort by biting Gorakh Nath. He saves himself with his spiritual powers.

Gorakh Nath vows to catch hold of Neelam. For that he releases a cobra and asks him to bring Neelam to him.

Neelam meets ANAND (SUNNY DEOL) and falls in love with him. They sing love songs and come very close to each other. Their families decide to get them married but how can Gorakh Nath allow them to get married. He knows once Neelam is married it will be very difficult to get MANI through her. He uses his spiritual powers to stop their marriage but Neelam’s loyal cobras were there to help her marry Anand.
