This is the story of two young and handsome brothers of Dhanakpur village. Suraj (Govinda) and Deepak (Aditya Pancholi). They are madly in love with each other. So much so that the villagers swear by their love of unity.

In Bombay and orphan Karishma (Karishma Kapoor) earns her daily bread by fooling people. She doesn't spare even Suraj from her on slaughts. Slowly she falls in love with him but Suraj pays no attention to her. She plays a trick by which Suraj is forced to marry her. Deepak falls in love Satya Prakash's (Arun Govil) sister.

Khanna (Shakti Kapoor) is the Bombay's underworld king. He makes people obey him by his ferocious acts and cunning manipulations. By one of his cunning moves he sows the seed of hatred between the two brothers. But Deepak is aware of his treachery. And one day, Deepak exposes his (Khanna's) secret and villainy in the court of law. Thus the brewing misunderstanding between the brothers is removed.

Having lost his leverage for manipulations, the outraged Khanna kills Deepak. This starts a chain reaction of hatred and revenge amongst the constables. Suraj and Satya Prakash take advantage of the situation and with the help of their colleagues burn down Khanna and his goondas along with their hide outs.

How Karishma fools people?

What was the trick that Karishma played which forces Suraj to marry her?
