Haria is a poor village, his daughter Ganga loves Suraj, incidently Suraj goes to the city and the village is attacked by dacoit Karan Singh and his gang. The dacoits kidnap Ganga.

Ranvir Singh, Janardan and Lala have a bad eye on Ganga. They come and humiliate Haria. Ganga who comes back from the dacoits' custody appears in the scene. A hot discussion follows, irritated Ranvir Singh, Janarda and Lala try to rape Ganga. Haria struggles with them to save the honour of his daughter. They burn him alive, Ganga jumps in the River. Karan Singh spots unconscious Ganga. Ganga takes the pledge to take the vendetta of her father's killing. She turns into dacoit Gurga. Karan Singh helps her. He develops a soft corner for Ganga. On the other hand, Suraj becomes a police inspector and I.G.P's daughter Jyoti falls in love with him. One day Jyoti reveals her feeling to him but he could not respond because he loves Ganga. Suraj comes to the village and comes to know that Ganga is dead and dacoit Karan Singh is responsible for it. 

Did Ganga succeed in taking the revenge of her father's killers inspite of inspector Suraj being?
Did Jyoti get the love of Suraj?
Was Karan Singh able to get Gannga's love?
Were Suraj and Ganga able to meet again?
