View on FacebookA boon given by a true yogi must be fulfilled - The powers contained in a yogi's "Bhasm" cannot but achieve the object for which it is given.
Yogi Machhindranath gave "Bhasm" to Saraswati Bai for the birth of a child to her, but Saraswati could not keep the faith and threw it away in a ditch. The "Bhasm" true to its objective, took shape of a human child underneath the surface of the earth and started developing into a strong healthy boy who later on became the Great yogi Gorakhnath. Yogi Machhindra Nath returned after twelve years and saying "Chalo Gorakh Machhindra aya" took Gorakh away and after a severe test made him his Chief Disciple and started his tour of the world to remove sufferings of human beings.
To release the man-hater Tilotama from her suffering under a curse, Machhindra Nath went to Stree Rajya, but himself fell a prey to her charms and got himself entangled in the worldly Moh-Maya.
Gorakh Nath, shocked and dismayed after a long search gained admittance into Stree Rajya through the help of Kalinga, a Dancer.
Gorakh did not deem it wise to make a direct approach to his Guru and so, on the day of Tripuri Poornima Utsav, he transformed himself into a beautiful woman and played Mridang to the accompaniment of Kalinga's Dance. The Mridang sounded and resounded till a clear voice became audible saying "Chalo Machbindra Gorakh Aya"
Machhindra got a rude shake up, awakening him from his deep slumber. Tilotama however, refused to give him up and a regular tug of war started between her and Gorakh.
What happened afterwards - who won this battle for possessing of one and the same man; whether a woman's charms or the charms of a saintly life.
