Suraj (the Hero Balkrishna) escapes from the prison and kidnaps Vijayashanti, who is a sister of Superintendent of Police (Lakshmi) and asks her to handover Mr. Kumar (Villain Amrishpuri’son) if she wants her sister to be safe. Vijayashanti while in the custody of Suraj and after hearing the past, she comes to a conclusion that Suraj is not a bad person and she falls in Love and join hands to fight the MAWALI RAJ of Amrishpuri.

Amrish Puri (Lala Dhanraj) is the owner of Coal mines, having deep political connections and the corrupt Police Officer PRABHAKAR helps him for all his evils plan of MAWALI RAJ. Amrish Puri exploits the mine workers with the help of mafia gangs and dig the mines beyond danger level, consequently hundreds of workers dies in the water burst and Suraj takes-up the battle with Lala Dhanraj for compensation to to the dead, which Amrish Puri for refuses. There is notorious Lawyer MASTAN RAO, who is a legal advisor of Amrish Puri for legalising of illegal acts. (i.e. fraud, murders, rapes, etc) Amrish Puri gets irritated with Suraj's steps and order his mafia man KALIYA to kidnap and rape Suraj's sister. Subsequently, Amrish Puri murders Kaliyaand put the blame on Suraj's hand, who is forced to go behind the bars and becomes the victims of Police Excesses.

Vijayashanti is the younger sister of Lady Police Officer, LAKSHMI. Vijaya wanted to become a police officer like KIRAN DEVI but she became International Tennis Champion and one day she is kidnapped by Suraj from Indira Gandhi Stadium while escaping from Jail, thinking that entire police force is corrupted, who is helping Amrish Puri and his MAWALI RAJ, threfore Vijaya is made tool to counter bartain with police, since she is the sister of Police Officer.

A cross situation for Vijayashanti, one side police officer Lakshmi (Sister) who wants to arrest Suraj and alos takes oath to finish the Amrish Puri's empire of MAWALI RAJ and other side now Vijaya and Suaj are in deep Love, having enjoyed several nights in foreign locations as a symbole of Love.

The picture's strength is its novelty action, eye pleasing camera work, rich treatment and FIRST TIME North and South two top music directors BAPPI LAHIRI and A R Rehman (Roja fame) together with five hit songs sung by Suresh Wadekar and Kavita Krishnamurty and tow songs having pictirised in foreign locations and top of it the film being presented by Vijayashanti who has performed the stunts without a duplicate which you see one the screen.
