System and law are two sides of same coin, but strongly contract the value of each other.

Society has made law to protect weaker ones from the tortures and exploitations of strong ones. So as to provide society with communal harmony, non-violence, peace, security and order. But contrary to this fact, system has been made by those who are anti-social and unlawful powers. Also they have their intimate connections with those at "Power".

A simple and common citizen finally falls victim to this system and law together. Unfalling to realize that how to take the help of system or law in their respective terms.

The similar conflicts is between freedom fighter Sinha (Anupam Kher) and Mirza Lukhnavi (Kadar Khan). Sinha believes in Law and this belief he has bestowed on his student Kishan Kashyap alias K.K. (Sudesh Berry). Whereas Mirza Lukhnavi is against this belief since Law has victimised his son-in-law, inspector D.D. alias Dawood Durrani (Akshay Kumar) by condemning him for his daughter Shehnaz's murder, the murder which was an outcome of eh conspiracy implanted by MP. Kalika Prasad (Paresh Rawal), builder Rangnath (Tinu Anand) and Inspector Deshmukh (Pradeep Singh) who carry Law in their hands and system on their shoulder.

After Law snatches away the uniform of police from D.D., he alongwith Mirza stands against M.P. Kalika Prasad and Rangnath and fight with them using their system. In this fight Inspector K.K. also comes to their help who uses his Lawful uniform as weapon of system. But this was results in Kishan's fiance and Sinha's daughter Kavita' rape.

Is Law capable enough to punish these dictators of system? Or Law will aain fall helpless? Answer to these questions and questions which rise from those answers is what's portrayed in 'KAYDA KANOON'.
