Amitabh Bachchan, affectionate of you all and every punctual one one day, while going for a shooting, due to some sudden defect in his car on the way, got life in a bus in which college students were returning from Mahabaleshwar after eyeing a picnic. Not only for those students, but for Amitabh also, this incidence became a memorable journey for the whole life.
During that period of merry making, the students fell into such a controversial discussion and were confronted with such a problem (question) that even 'Hakim Lukman' could not answer it. The question was - who is great - Man or woman? And they put the same question to Mr. Amitabh. A seasoned man like Amitabh was totally at a fix to hear it; as he knew it well that man and woman are the two wheels of this vehicle (like) - life, the inequality of any of them in any measure will bring it standstill. He did not intend to leave a baneful influence of the delicate minds by answering the question in a hurry.
In the pensive mood, closing his eyes, as if in deep meditation, in a sudden flash the answer appeared to him, as if he was reading it from the third eye of Lord Shiva.
He expressed it through his smiles, gestures and songs.
This is the story of this film of ours.
You too would also be anxious to know after all, what was Mr. Amitabh Bachchan's answer to the question in dispute.
But I am not going to tell you about this - this you will see to yourself on the screen - in the dispute of Man and Woman.
Who won? Who lost? the battle.
