The story of "JUNG" revolves around a seven year old kid, who's fighting for life. But his battle becomes together when his survival is sandwiched between the war of law and order... of an honest cop and a dreaded criminal.

Sahil (Yash) is a son of an honest police office Veer (Jackie Shroff) and Naina (Raveena Tandon), it was very happy-settled family until they discover that Sahil has blood cancer. He's got a rare blood group and needs a bone marrow transplant. Since Sahil is in advance stage of cancer, transplantation needed to be done immediately... otherwise he'll die!! Shattered Veer and Naina's only hope to save their son is to find the bone marrow match of Sahil. Veer goes all out to find the match but fails. Time starts to tick away and Sahil's condition begins to get grave.

Fortunately Doctor manages to find the match but it's of dreaded criminal Balli (Sanjay Dutt), who's serving life sentence in Jail. Veer initially objects to blood of dreaded criminal going into his Sahil's veins. But all his objections vanishes when suddenly Sahil starts to skink. Naina's pleading and Sahil's condition compel Veer to go and request a dreaded....psycho criminal to donate the bone marrow for his dying son. Veer visits Balli in jail only to get humiliated by Balli. At first Balli refuses any help to the police officer, but Naina goes and pleads to Balli... he agrees.

Balli is taken out of the jail and under high security is brought to the hospital. Doctors starts doing arrangements for the transplant but to everyone's shock, Balli escapes from the hospital without donating the bone marrow...

Sahil's condition continues to get critical... Balli has no intention or interest in Sahil's life. His one point plan is to collect his money from Mossa (Saurabh Shukla) and leave the country for ever with his girl, Tara (Shilpa Shetty) and friend Lachu (Neeraj Vora). Commissioner gives the case to arrest Balli to ruthless police officer Inspector Khan (Aditya Pancholi), who's expected to get Balli dead or alive!!

And Veer's desperation is to keep Balli alive to get his bone marrow transplant into his son...to save him from dying...Thus the triangular war starts...!!
