A film with a little like Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate indicates a film full of fun, forth and music. Naturally, a crow plays a pivotal role. This crow tends to flit in and out of the garden of a slightly eccentric, retired police officer who is convinced that every time the crow caws, someone around him is lying. The amusing twist and turns which follow the crow's visits make for an interesting romantic comedy.

Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate has a little bit of everything smiles, sighs, songs and romance. Amrish Puri is the strict cop whose daughter Juhi Chawla is in love with Anil Kapoor an eligible bachelor but there's no way the father will approve of a love match. So there's a lot of coaxing, convincing and lying too. And of course, cawing a sensitive, racy, romantic musical comedy-with plenty of heart and soul.
