Bob and Borges are two conniving people. They try to play mischief on gullible folks. Philomena is a poor girl who lives with her father. Unfortunately, her father meets with an accident and leaves for his heavenly abode. She has no one to assist her in this period of calamity. Bob and Borges take advantage of this situation. They scheme to cheat this helpless girl.

Bob and Borges go ahead and put their plan into action. They take over her father’s rich company illegally. But fate has its own ways. Bob’s son is in love with Philomena. And it is here that the tussle commences. He is forced to marry Borges’ daughter but he refuses to do so. Robert is the manager of the office. He witnesses the connivance of these rogues. He learns that Philomena is the real owner of the company. He is a lecherous person and wants to amass wealth in an easy way.

He kidnaps her and blackmails her to marry him. Again fate has its own ways. There is a saying that one should never try to destroy someone’s life with a lie when yours could be destroyed by the truth. The real owner is revealed. Philomena is rescued by Brian. The property is restored to the rightful owner. The culprits get punishment for their illegal activities. The story comes to a happy end.

The story of the film draws inspiration from the famous novel Sorrowing Lies My Land by noted centenarian author and freedom fighter Lambert Mascarenhas where the novel depicts the economic, social, and psychological consequences of colonization through the strategic treatment of individual and family relationships.

The film is in color processed at the Gemini color laboratory. The film’s dubbing is faulty and if corrected could be shown to the audiences.
