Amar, a young and energetic man is running from one place to another in search of a job. He makes acquaintance with Seema at a place where a song competition was held.

Seema's main aim in life is to help those women who have been the victims of men's domination and cruelty.

Luckily Amar succeeds in getting a job in Seth Karamchand's (Seema's father) office

Durga Devi, Amar's mother treats her daughter-in-law Sharda (her elder son's wife) very ill because she could not bring with her enough dowry. Even her married daughter Kanchan joins her mother in causing mental torture to poor Sharda. Kanchan's husband Bajrangi cannot do anything because he himself dependent on them ad is living with his mother-in-law in her house.

Sharda unable to bear any more of her mother-in-law's cruelty leaves the house along with her small daughter Penky. She finally knocks at her childhood's friend Seema's door. Incidentally Amar arrives there and is astonished to see Sharda and Pinky at Seema's house, because according to information both Sharda and Pinky have died. Amar and Seema decide to help her and arrive home to set things right and get Sharda justice for the wrong done to her.
