Shamsher Singh (Dharmendra) is a clean hearted soldier for his country & for his family. Arjun (Raj Babbar) was an educated villager. They both were harassed by Thakur (Raza Murad) & his brother Karansingh (Bharat Kapoor). Shamsher Singh's bride Lajo (Sonu Walia) is raped by Thakur & his friend to take revenge. Her turns as a dacait. Karan Singh has played a big plot for Arjun & arrested by the police. In the meantime Arjun is met with Shamsher Singh & becomes dacait for the revenge.
In the village Thakur & his friend, Durjan Singh (Kiran Kumar) were harassing the village people & they have tried to harass Arjun's bride Roopa (Farah). Luckily she was escaped. How Shamsher Singh & Arjun to gether saved Roopa & village people & given relief from the harassment from Thakur, Karansingh & Durjan Singh.
