Azad is a street vagabond doing miscellaneous jobs at the behest of don Jamal Khan. He rescues Meena, a village virgin, from the brothel, thereby incurring the wrath of 'Bhau' another don, Meena is rejected by her family in her hamlet and it befalls on Azad to protect her. He vows to make her a great singer and promotes her through his little acquaintances in hotels etc. Meena slowly becomes popular and in the singing career comes across Dhiren a popular singer-cum-dancer himself. The entry of Dhiren in the life of Meena starts creating irritants in the life of Azad & Meena.

Meena gets attracted to Dhiren and Azad cannot tolerate this. Meena is torn between her savior and protector Azad and lover Dhiren.

Meanwhile, the brothel goons are out to take away Meena from Azad and this enrages Azad's godfather Jamal and the rivalry between the two goons starts culminating in the kidnapping of Meena by Bhau. Azad and Dhiren are outraged at this and rush to save Meena.

Are they able to save her; if so, who gets her?

Please come and see 'AWAARGI', a powerful film with mellifluous music, powerful performances and a great climax.
