The head of a hen jerks-frightened, its head anointed with the sacrificial colours. Suddenly, a hand pulls it- a knife flashes and the hand of the priest puts the ceremonial tilak of blood on the forehead of Maharaja Bhisham Bahadur Singh. The world may have forgotten him but he has not forgotten the world. Within the walls of his castle he plots revenge against all those who have taken away his kingdom, his palace, his wealth, his royal heritage, and flung him to the ground: a common man. He is responsible for drug trafficking, smuggling, supplying arms to dacoits, salve traffic-he is responsible for bringing misery into the lives of thousands of people-he is responsible for creating ASHANTI.

An explosion rips through the walls of a bank. Four armed robbers grab the loot and make their escape. The police take up the chase. Inspector Kumar-a ruthless, relentless cop catches the robbers and most of the loot is recovered; but Kumar does not realize who he is up against. When he reaches home he finds a beautiful girl Kamini waiting for him, but she is not as innocent as she looks. She has come to bribe him to drop the charges against the bank robbers. When he refuses to succumb to bribes and threats he finds himself framed, arrested and thrown behind bars. Maharaja Bhisham Bahadur has claimed another victim. Another heart is filled with ASHANTI. But Kamini too is a victim. She also was blackmailed to do what she did. She has been just released from prison. She also is filled with ASHANTI. The two enemies come together.

The trail leads them to Sonia, Tony and Sunita. But the gang members had arrived earlier. They killed Sunita’s brother, her mother and Tony. She is alive only because of the timely help of Shankar, a small-time Dada who runs an illicit booze joint. Had it not been for him she too would have been dead. She is alive and she too is filled with ASHANTI.

The victims join hands and thus begins the search for that devil of a man. This search takes them to the castle of Maharaja Bhisham Bahadur Singh. There their real identities are discovered. Then follows an action-packed climax that will keep you glued to your seats, with the kind of thrills rarely seen before on the Hindi screen.
