This is a story of an innocent young man Rama (Venkatesh), who does not know the meaning of ‘love’ who does not know the meaning of ‘Hate’ But who knows of understands only one thing in the entire world. His Mother Savitri (Rakhee) & Rama is fond of singing since childhood, and all his songs show his love for his mother.

Bhai Raja (Suresh Oberoi), Majhle Raja (Ajitesh), Chote Raja (Gulshan Grover) are thakur brothers staying in the same village. They all love their sister Raj Nandini (Karisma Kapoor) very much so much so much so that no male ever dares to even look at their beloved sister, being well-aware of the consequences that will follow later. Each and every need of Raj Nandini is provided by the three Thakur brothers in the Haveli itself. The Reason for all this being a forecast made in Raj Nandini’s childhood that she would marry against the wishes of her brothers. Bhairaja is well aware of the fact that Rama is an Anaari. A clash between Bhairaja’s men and Rama impresses Bhairaja and leads to Rama being appointed as Raj Nandini’s Bodyguard.
To, Raj Nandini Rama is the first Male, apart from her three brothers, who speaks to her fearlessly, who really cases about her, who, in his innocence smears Kum Kum on her forehead and who saves her life. As the days pass, Raj Nandini’s liking for Rama becomes more and more due to his childish innocence. She decides to get married to Rama and somehow convinces him to tie a Mangalsutra around her neck. Anaari Rama is ignorant of these rituals. He fails to realize that now he is Raj Nandini’s husband. Bhairaja and his brothers come to know of this and decide to kill Rama. Unable to find Rama, they start Torturing his Mother.
