Still famous as the "Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai" man after the dialogue he utters in the popular sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, gifted comedian Tiku Talsania’s work as an actor in films and television as well as stage has been highly appreciated. He has acted in over 200 films and TV serials. Whether it was playing the highly strung boss in Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi (1984), Raja Saheb in the satirical comedy series Yeh Duniya Ghazab Ki (1992-1993), the endearing bank manager Gaitonde in Ishq (1997), the hilarious police inspector in Andaz Apna Apna (1994), the chuckle-inspiring tenant Brij Mohan in the teleserial Ek Se Badh Kar Ek (1995), or Dhanwantrilal Dhyanchand Dholakia aka 3D, the man against love marriage in the sitcom Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai (2012), Talsania is always a delight to watch onscreen. Incidentally, "Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai" became a famous dialogue which he has delivered in most of his performances. Talsania made his debut in films with Rajeev Mehra's Pyaar Ke Do Pal (1986), and went on to play mainly comic roles in films such as Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin (1991), Bol Radha Bol (1992), Jodi No.1 (2001), and Partner (2007). He is known for his work in Devdas (2002), and Special 26 (2013). Besides his career in films and television, he is also a known face in the theatre circuit, performing on the Gujarati stage in Mumbai and abroad. 

Born on 7 June, 1954 in Bombay, he hailed from a family of doctors; however, it was the stage that held his interest. Starting work initially in sales, he quit his job to concentrate on carving a career in films. He began his film career with Rajeev Mehra's Pyaar Ke Do Pal (1986). While he went on to play comic roles in a slew of films including Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin (1991), Umar 55 Ki Dil Bachpan Ka (1992), Bol Radha Bol (1992), Andaz Apna Apna (1994) and Mr. Bechara (1996), it was only occasionally that he broke away to play a serious part like he did in Waqt Hamara Hai (1993). 

Tiku Talsania has been a part of several commercially successful entertainers such as Ishq (1997), Jodi No.1 (2001) and Partner (2007). His performance as protagonist Devdas’s happy-go-lucky caregiver Dharamdas, who cares deeply for Devdas, brought him critical appreciation. In more recent years, Talsania has been seen in minor roles in films such as Dhamaal (2007) and Special 26 (2013).

His career is television is dotted with successes, starting from the hit sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi back in 1984, to crowd-pulling serials of the 1990s such as Ye Duniya Ghazab Ki, Zamana Badal Gaya and Ek Se Badh Kar Ek. More recently, he was seen in Uttaran, and SAB TV's sitcom Sajan Re Phir Jhooth Mat Bolo. 

On the personal front, Tiku Talsania is married to Dipti, a theatre artist and classical dancer. He has a son Rohan and a daughter Shikha Talsania, who is also an actress who was seen in films like Wake Up Sid (2009) and Veere Di Wedding (2018). Tiku Talsania is also a biking and adventure sport enthusiast.
