Ram and Gopal's father was killed by a daku named Jangotia, when they were innocent children. But their mother ran away with her children to save their lives. Luck was against them and they were seperated by a gloomy storm. The elder Ram came in the hands of Jangotia, the murderer of his father who was in persue of them. Ram and Jangotia did not know each other Ram thought him the source of his meals and clothes and Jangotia thought him the means of his old age.
Gopal the younger one came in the hands of a Tongawala who had no child. He nourished him as his own child. As the time passed both became young. Ram was notorious by the name of Himalaya daku, and Gopal was known as Sawan. One was blood thirsty and the other was mild like Ganga. Gopal became a shephered. He played so sweetly on flute that he lost sheeps so many times by his such carelessness. So he was refused by every person in the village to provide him any kind of job due to his flute. His tatoo advised him to go to Shamnagar, the same Shamnagar where his mother was staying and passing her days in a temple. Both were in the same village, but could not recognise each other. On one side mother was dying in memory of her children, and the other side children wanted motherly love.
Gopal fall in love with the girl of his master. One day Himalaya attacked and looted whole of the village. Meanwhile he saw that beautiful girl named Badli, the beloved of his younger brother Sawan. Though he was very merciless daku but even then he lost his heart at the first sight, as he saw that beautiful girl. Now both the brothers loved the same girl. But they did not know that there is another person also, the Raja of that state, who had seen the girl and had also started loving her. Raja called Zamindar and asked him for the hands of his daughter in marriage, which the greedy Zamindar gladly accepted. But the sacrifice of Badli compelled Zamindar to change his mind, who refused to marry his daughter with him. The Zamindar was arrested and marriage was proclaimed.
With whom Badli was married? Were the both brother united or not? Whether the mother found her children or not?
